Palm Sunday. I time to reflect and prepare for the coming Holy Week. A time to search your soul. A time to take down the Christmas Lights.

Yeah ... March 16th marked the day I was finally able to take down our Christmas lights. Now, the lights have been off since the 2nd week of January. I'm lazy, not psychotic. Just think, this was the first weekend since January that hasn't had a significant amount of snow or ice making such a task far too dangerous for a clumsy oaf like myself. I tried arguing that the layer of snow would help cushion a fall off the roof, but Debbie would have none of that. Can't imagine why. Who would have thought in December that getting the lights down before Easter would have been an iffy proposition?

Sccccreeeeaaaccch!!! BOOM!

That sound you hear is our gallery coming to a screaching halt and crashing. Yup. The entire thing went kaput. The main problem is our albums directory was not being backed up due to the inordinate size it consumed (many, many gigs were lost). A few months ago, the machine on which this account resides suffered catastrophic disk failures requiring a brand new hard drive. Our uploaded pictures went with it. Now, we still have all our pictures residing on 2 separate hard drives at home. There just isn't anything viewable by the general public. All the album structures are intact and I can still see my comments, so I can rebuild it. However, that means manually uploading all the pictures going back 3 or so years. I think, at this point, just starting at 4th quarter 2007 is going to have to suffice. After all, we still have all the images and gallery is just a way to share them with out friends

Depressed

After 8 years, I have moved cubes. I'm still at the same company, but switched positions recently. My old cube was a large double cube with a best friend for a cube mate. We had a giant window looking out onto the OtorolaMay property. My new cube is a single buried someone in the large intestine of The Company. I like having a secure job, but I miss my view.
