I am some kind of freak
What's worse than getting sick? How about knowing that because you're sick, you can't go near your children. Let me elaborate:
On Friday, I started coughing, but thought nothing of it. I figured, at worst, this was the start of a minor cold. We went to a birthday party for my niece and nephew on Saturday, where lots of fun was had, but I was feeling a bit down. By Saturday night, I was feeling war, so I took my temperature. 100.2. Great! Coughing and a fever. Not a good combination. Sunday, I spent most of the day in bed and made sure to keep Lauren and Eric away from any germs I might pass on. With the fever still around on Monday, I felt a visit to the doctor was necessary. The verdict: walking pneumonia!
What kind of freak gets pneumonia in May! Ugh. What a way to spend an anniversary.
