What makes a 4 hour delay worse?

Would you like to know what could possibly make a 4 hour flight delay worse? How about when said flight is scheduled to depart from Minneapolis at 10:25 pm! That's right folks ... I was on a flight that left at 2:30 in the morning and arrived at 3:45 am (good thing it was a quick flight). So, after 3 days of sitting in a hotel room waiting for a problem to happen that never did, my trip ended with me walking in the door at 5:00 am. Good thing I called my boss earlier and said there was no way on God's green earth that I was going to be at work today.
