A plea for help

Alright blogosphere, I need some advice. I am maintaining a online photo gallery and have run into a quandry as to how to handle the folders. Till now, I have used a folder for each month of Lauren's life. However, I don't think that method will continue to work very well. I have 2 choices here. I could make a new folder at each upload of a block of pictures or I could make a folder for each calendar month (I don't feel like trying to worry about pictures taken on the 7th versus the 8th). So, my question to you all is:

Which method of grouping pictures of Lauren would you prefer?
1. Create a new folder at each upload
2. Create a new folder for each calendar month
