I hate pretend radio shows

I don't drive a whole lot, but I do spent a good amount of time in the car. That means I listen to a lot of radio and, thus, a lot of radio commercials. I have noticed a new advertising style that ... well ... pisses me off whenever I hear it. The gist of the commercial is that you are listening to a morning radio show or some such and the DJs are just "conversing". NBC was the first to do this (or at least the first one I noticed doing it) when they would have these faux DJs plug that nights lineup. I'm sorry, but this is just crap. It's bad enough that the real morning DJs have to do commercials during their show to pay the bills, now we have to listen to commercials that pretend to be DJs doing commercials. What's next? A commercial break in the commercial? *sigh* I need some candy or something.
