Do you like board games?
My wife LOVES board games. She has already made it well known that as our kid(s) get older, we WILL have a Family Game Night. I've been thinking about this and realized if that is to be the case, we really would want more than just your standard staple of Hasbro and Parker Bros games. Why not expand our repitoire a bit and play some games that are reall good, but no one has ever heard of. While in Denver, our friend katie introduced us to one of these games called Settlers of Catan. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this and would love to own it. But, where to find more games like this? Well, I just found a nice mash-up of some quality, fun-to-play board games here in the Morning News. I think Niagara is the one that intriques me the most, though Ra, Ingenious, and Around the World in 80 days seem very interesting too.

Board games are tons of fun. I am working on adding board games to my website where people can play them online. I have over 100 Free Arcade Games there now, and at the moment, working on adding an online chess game.
It doesn't have to be a game night although I think that would be cool. What I really want is a night set asside for family (though no T.V./movies) especially as the kid(s) grow and schedules get hectic.
