Okay, so now that all the first round games are over, lets see how my remaining picks did.
Washington just bot beat by UAB so no points there
Lousiville had a good lead but couldn't hang on against Xavier
Pitt did what it was supposed to do, but didnt win by much over Central Florida.

So, my final tally, 10 out of 16. Not great. Not horrible. Barely respectable.

Now, since I'm here, I might as well predict the remaining 2nd round games. My picks are as follows:

  1. Kentucky over UAB: Wildcats hould have no problem here
     
  2. Kansas over Pacific: The Jayhawks looked really good in the win over UIC
     
  3. Georgia Tech over Boston College: Couting my last post, thats 5 ACC teams onto the Sweet Sixteen

  1. Pitt over Wisconsin: Toughest 2nd round matchup considering the lower seed team [WI] is essentially playing a home game in Milwaukee
     
  2. OK State over Memphis: Is this Eddie Sutton's year
     
• Atlanta Regional
  
  1. Cincy over Illinois: Sorry Illini fans, but Cincy looks tough
     
  2. Miss State over Xavier: Another unheralded great team in Mississippi State
     
• Phoenix Regional
  
  1. NC State over Vanderbilt: Yup ... I picked all 6 ACC teams to make the Sweet Sixteen
